About The Challenge
Building an efficient warehouse from the ground up is no small task—it requires strategic planning, technical expertise, and strong collaboration. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing a warehouse that supports high-efficiency vehicle assembly production. You’ll need to calculate capacity based on production demands, design workflows, determine manpower needs, and set up essential machinery, equipment, and tools.
Beyond setup, the challenge lies in optimizing operations—establishing SOPs, ensuring seamless coordination across teams, and driving continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and performance. Is this you?
- Minimum diploma in engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years as a warehouse planner, preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Proven experience in project management or developing new products/processes
- Proficient in setting up and managing a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Strong ability to develop and analyze warehouse transactions
- Strategic thinker with a focus on process improvement and execution monitoring
- Adaptable in fast-paced environments and able to learn from uncertainties
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Willing to work on-site at MAKA Cikarang Office and able to join immediately
What a day at work for you will look like
- Oversee warehouse planning by assessing, preparing, and coordinating all requirements to ensure a smooth production process
- Lead projects related to capacity expansion, new model implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and optimize warehouse operations, including process design, layout planning, and resource allocation
- Analyze current warehouse capacity, define layout strategies, determine necessary equipment and tools, calculate manpower needs, and establish SOPs and work instructions
- Support ongoing warehouse operations by reviewing processes, monitoring equipment performance, participating in line balancing assessments, and driving continuous improvement efforts
