    Job Description:

    1. Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components from concept to production.

    2. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop project timelines and budgets.

    3. Coordinate and prioritize R&D activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

    4. Provide guidance and support to team members, assign tasks, and monitor progress.

    5. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

    6. Oversee the creation of detailed design concepts, drawings, and specifications.

    7. Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to develop and analyze mechanical designs.

    8. Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to assess design concepts and solutions.

    9. Lead the fabrication and testing of prototypes, and oversee validation and testing activities.

    10. Analyze test results and feedback to refine designs and address technical challenges.

    11. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

    12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers, to integrate mechanical systems into overall product designs.

    13. Communicate project status, technical updates, and risks to stakeholders and management.

    14. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and creative problem-solving.

    15. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

    16. Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and industry developments.

    17. Drive technical innovation and contribute to the development of intellectual property.

    Qualifications:

    1. Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

    2. Have minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on research and development.

    3. Strong technical proficiency in mechanical design and engineering principles.

    4. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools.

    5. Excellent project management and leadership skills.

    6. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

    7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    9. Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.

    10. Ability to work in an office setting and occasionally in laboratory or prototype fabrication environments.

    11. Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
