Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mechanical and electrical systems and components from concept to production.
- Coordinate and prioritize R&D activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to develop and analyze mechanical designs.
- Conduct studies and technical evaluations to assess design concepts, solutions and specifications.
- Lead the fabrication and testing of prototypes, and oversee validation and testing activities.
- Analyze test results and feedback to refine designs and address technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and industry developments.
Qualifications
- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Have minimum 2 years of experience in motorcycle engineering, with a focus on research and development.
- Strong technical proficiency in mechanical design and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in an office setting and occasionally in laboratory or prototype fabrication environments.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
