Position Overview:
The Wadhwani Global Impact team is the “Voice of the Beneficiary” within the foundation and serves the vital role of understanding their needs and providing insights to enhance program Impact. We do this by learning alongside our beneficiaries and stakeholders, using a right mix of technical and practical experience, to deliver the data and insights our programs need, fast.
TTo further Wadhwani Foundation’s vision and outcomes, we are seeking an Sr. Associate/Associate – Impact to support the Foundation’s program’s strategy in measuring and evaluating the program’s impact on its beneficiaries in Indonesia. Reporting to the Manager – Impact, the incoming Sr. Associate/Associate will work closely with the Indonesia program teams to gather and manage data, assist in the evaluation processes, and ensure operational efficiency in the monitoring and evaluation of program impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence & Data Management:
• Develop and implement quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis frameworks to monitor and evaluate the impact of WF programs
• Support the development of data-driven learning strategies, leveraging advanced analytics and thematic analysis to generate actionable insights
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy, working closely with the data management team.
• Facilitate easy access to data for the Wadhwani Entrepreneurship Network & Wadhwani Skill Development Network programs, ensuring teams can derive insights and understand progress
Support in Strategy Execution:
• Collaborate with the Impact team to ensure data is collected, managed, and stored efficiently.
• Work alongside the Program teams in developing short- and long-term impact measurement plans.
• Lead the synthesis of quantitative and qualitative data to support strategic decisions and provide a comprehensive understanding of program outcomes.
• Ensure the WF program’s data is well-documented and available for organizational reporting and discussions.
Experience and Education required:
• 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably consulting, startups, social enterprise or corporate environment
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in quantitative (e.g. statistical analysis, data visualization etc) and qualitative (thematic analysis and stakeholder interviews) methods
• Experience with mixed-methods research, including survey design, focus group facilitation and data triangulation to validate findings
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization with tools such as Excel, PowerBI, R or similar software and data driven tools
• Strong operational focus, ensuring tasks are completed timely and accurately
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with bilingual proficiency in Bahasa and English
• Team-player with an orientation towards Quality at Scale
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
