However, speakers noted that land conversion has weakened this balance, with impacts extending beyond agriculture.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f734ccc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f734ccc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAccording to the discussion, reduced green open spaces have contributed to environmental risks such as flooding, while the loss of farmland has undermined local food systems and farmer livelihoods.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e8d6911 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e8d6911\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGusti Wayan Danu, Secretary of Subak Intaran and a farmer directly affected by land conversion, challenged the assumption that tourism always offers better economic prospects. \t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-854abb8 elementor-blockquote--skin-border elementor-blockquote--button-color-official elementor-widget elementor-widget-blockquote\" data-id=\"854abb8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"blockquote.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"elementor-blockquote\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-blockquote__content\">\n\t\t\t\tTourism does not always guarantee the prosperity people imagine. The ones who become rich are often not the workers. PlastikDetox stated that the discussion sought to strengthen public understanding of subak as both an ecological and cultural system, while encouraging cross-sector efforts to protect romanticize rice fields, but to present the reality facing Bali today. \u201cSubak is not just a backdrop for tourism photos,\u201d he said. \u201cIt is a social and ecological system that has maintained balance in Bali for hundreds of years, and that balance is now at a critical point,\u201d he added \t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
