SUMMARY:Indonesia Sustainable Energy Week 2024
DESCRIPTION:ISEW 2024\, themed “United Towards a Sustainable Future: Advancing the Energy Transition for Indonesia Emas and Net Zero Emissions\,” will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) and Bappenas\, and organized by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH alongside other German-funded partners. The event will spotlight the robust German-Indonesian energy cooperation\, backed by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). ISEW will also serve as a platform for stakeholder input to guide Indonesia’s Long- and Medium-Term National Development Plans in the energy sector. \nISEW 2024 aims to achieve three key objectives: \n\nFacilitate high-level dialogues between the Indonesian and German governments and ministries on global and national energy transitions.\nConnect policymakers with the public\, including civil society\, academia\, youth\, and other non-energy stakeholders.\nRaise awareness of viable technologies among the public\, private sector\, and communities
